Users include manufacturers of electronic components, producers of insertion and assembly equipment, electronics manufacturing service companies and purchasers who specify how parts are to be delivered. The document adopts an international standard. It is a recommended (voluntary) national standard taking effect on 1 March 2027, prepared under the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
