GB/T 28036-2011 is the English-translated version of 信息处理面向起止和同步字符传输的字符结构.

GB/T 28036-2011 — The standard provides for the use of ISO 646 as the theme of the bit coded character set, GB/T 11383 theme Octet Coded Character Character sets and as GB/T 2311 relating to the above coded character set extension bit and start-stop synchronous serial data transmission system structure.

This standard also specifies the parity and bit coded character set for use with read out. This standard applies to the relevant X-Series Recommendations and CCITTV defined by DTE data terminal equipment and data circuit terminating DCE interface information between devices to transmit standardized by CCITT and ISO/IEC .
