Scope

GB/T 27978-2011 is the English-translated version of 水泥生产原料中废渣用量的测定方法.

GB/T 27978-2011 is a determination method for the waste content in the raw mix of cement.

Clause 1 states that the standard specifies the measurement of the amount of waste in cement raw materials by chemical analysis and by a field measurement method, that chemical analysis prevails in case of dispute, and that the standard applies to the determination of the amount of waste in cement raw materials.

Clause 2 cites GB/T 176, GB/T 212, GB/T 5484, GB/T 5762, GB/T 12573, GB/T 12960, JC/T 850, JC/T 874, JC/T 911 and the comprehensive utilization of resources directory of the Development and Reform Commission, 2003 revision.

Clause 3 defines waste as coal gangue, fly ash, boiler slag, chemical waste, mining and mineral-processing waste, smelting slag, sugar filter mud, river and canal sludge, construction waste and the other wastes included in that directory, with one note itemising what counts as chemical waste and another that itemises smelting slag and excludes blast furnace slag from it; the clause also defines confirmable analysis methods, whose accuracy and precision have been proved by standard samples, reference materials or comparative tests, and the characteristic chemical component, a component contained in one chemical composition and absent or negligible in the others.

The table of contents gives the rest of the structure, with clause 4 on the basic test requirements, clause 5 on chemical analysis, clause 6 on the field measurement method and clause 7 on the repeatability limit and the reproducibility limit of the chemical analysis measurement results; the draft breaks off at the end of clause 3, so these clauses cannot be described further.

The foreword states that the standard was proposed by the China Building Materials Federation, that it is administered by the national standardization technical committee for cement (SAC/TC184) and that it was drafted by the China Building Materials Science Research Institute, the China Building Material Test Certification Center Co., Ltd. and the Guizhou Province building materials industry product quality supervision and inspection station. It was issued on 2011-12-30 and has applied since 2012-10-01.

3.1 Waste

Refers to coal gangue, fly ash, boiler slag, chemical waste, mining and mineral processing waste (including waste rock, tailings, debris, powder, dust, sludge), Smelting slag, sugar filter mud, river (canal) Road sludge and construction waste and other waste, and included in the "comprehensive utilization of resources directory (revised 2003)," the Other waste.

Note: Chemical waste including pyrite slag, pyrite firing residue, sulfuric acid residue, sulfur, gypsum, phosphogypsum, calcined phosphate residue, cyanide waste, carbide slag, phosphorus slag, sulfur Slag, caustic sludge, waste residue containing barium, chromium slag, salt mud, total solvent slag, phosphorus slag, citric acid residue, sugar residue, gypsum, fluorine gypsum, waste gypsum mold.

NOTE: smelting slag include converter slag, electric furnace slag, Ferroalloys slag, aluminum red mud, non-ferrous metal ash, blast furnace slag is not included.

3.2 Analysis confirmed

By standard sample/reference material or comparative tests, analysis proved its accuracy and precision to meet the requirements, such as X-ray fluorescence Optical analysis.

3.3 Characteristics of chemical composition

A chemical composition of a component contained in the chemical composition does not contain other components or content may be negligible.
