Scope

GB/T 27547-2011 is the English-translated version of 升降工作平台 导架爬升式工作平台.

GB/T 27547-2011 — This standard specifies the special safety requirements of the guide frame climbing work platform (hereinafter referred to as MCWP). MCWP is made by manual or power Operate, temporarily installed, equipment that can carry one or more people for work.

Note 1.The vertical moving parts (work platforms) are also used to transport staff, equipment and materials to or from a certain construction location. These terms make MCWP is different from construction hoist.

Note 2.This standard distinguishes the hazards caused by the different stages of the equipment during the service life, and explains the elimination or reduction of these hazards and safe use Methods.

This standard does not specifically specify how to handle the process of handling, installing or dismantling, fixing or removing any materials or equipment that are not part of this MCWP the requirements for the hazards caused by the above, there is no special provision for the method of handling special hazardous materials.

This standard does not specifically stipulate the requirements for transporting personnel and materials to fixed landings. For such facilities, please refer to elevators or construction elevators and other related standard.

This standard also applies to permanently installed MCWP. For MCWP to which this standard applies, its operating platform is carried out through the drive system Lift, guide and move through guide frame.

The guide frame and the independent support structure can be provided with or without lateral support.

At the same time, this standard the MEWP in, applies to any of the following optional combinations. ---Single guide frame or multiple guide frame; ---With or without attached support; ---Fixed height guide frame or variable height guide frame; ---Vertical guide frame or a guide frame inclined 0°~30° from the vertical direction; ---Standing or hanging guide frame; ---Mobile or fixed underframe (chassis or underframe); ---Manual or power boost; --- Tow or drive on the work site without meeting the requirements of road traffic regulations; ---Driven by electric, pneumatic, hydraulic or internal combustion engine.

This standard does not apply to mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP) complying with ISO 16368, and high-altitude working baskets complying with EN1808 and the lifting platform conforming to EN1570.
