Foreword

This standard GB/T 1.1-2009 given rule drafting.

This standard uses redrafted law revision by the United States Society for Testing and Materials standard ASTMD1718:2003 "(95% grade) acetic acid Isobutyl. " This standard ASTMD1718:2003 compared to the structure have more adjustment, listed in Appendix A of this standard and ASTM D1718:2003 reg control list numbered. This standard ASTMD1718:2003 technical differences and for the following reasons.

--- On normative references, this standard has been adjusted technical differences, in order to adapt our technical conditions, the adjusted situation Focus is reflected in the status of Chapter 2, "Normative references", the specific adjustments are as follows.

- increased references GB 190 (see 6.1);

- increase cited GB/T 3723 (see 5.4);

- with the GB/T 6678 and GB/T 6680 instead of ASTMD1718:2003 and ASTM reference ASTMD268 E300 (see 5.4);

- with the GB/T 8170 instead of ASTMD1718:2003 references ASTME29 (see 5.5);

- with the GB/T 12717-2007 replaced ASTMD1718:2003 references ASTMD1209, ASTMD1353, ASTMD1364, ASTMD1613, ASTMD3545 and ASTMD4052 (see 4.2,4.3,4.4,4.5, 4.6, 4.7 and 4.8);

- Remove the ASTMD1718:2003 references ASTMD1078 and ASTME1;

--- Increase the appearance requirements and test methods (see 3.1 and 4.1);

--- Set up two first-class products and superior product level (see 3.2), in order to adapt to China's industrial product grading practices;

Index --- isobutyl acetate content by >=95% revised to superior products >=99.5%, first-class products >=99.0% (see 3.2), which is based the actual level of production and domestic and foreign trade domestic requirements determined;

--- Excellence in goods increased isobutanol content of the project (see 3.2), in order to meet the demanding requirements of the user;

--- Not set boiling range projects in order to avoid boiling range and isobutyl acetate content provided duplicate entries;

--- Use the "density" instead of "apparent specific gravity" (see 3.2), to adopt a unified domestic terminology;

--- Test Method for acidity, increasing the Rose acid method as arbitration (see 4.5.2).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the industrial isobutyl acetate requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, labeling, transportation, storage, and security.

This standard applies to the acetic acid and isobutanol in the presence of a catalyst prepared by esterification of industrial isobutyl acetate.

3 Requirements

3.1 Appearance. transparent liquid without suspended impurities.

3.2 Industrial isobutyl acetate indicators should meet the requirements in Table 1.
