1 Scope

GB/T 26467-2011 is the Chinese national standard on generic specification for online leak sealing technology of pressure equipments, in the field of fluid systems and general-purpose components. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. This standard specifies pressure sealing safety management, site of the leak site survey, preparation before construction, operation process control, safety and completion acceptance.
