Introduction

Optical thin-film elements are widely used in various scientific and technological fields related to optics and photonics to achieve reflection, beam splitting, and filtering.

Optical thin-film devices, with their various optical functions such as light transmission, are an irreplaceable and crucial component of optical systems. With continuous advancements in technology, optical thin-film devices are increasingly being developed...

The technology is developing in a direction with higher performance requirements and more diverse needs. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a specific technical set for optical thin film technology.

National standards with content aligned with international standards. This will not only promote the standardized and orderly development of my country's optical thin film industry, but also better facilitate related [development].

Trade, exchange, and technological cooperation in this field. GB/T 26332, "Optical and Photonic Thin Films," was drafted against this backdrop.

Determined.

GB/T 26332 describes optical thin films deposited on the surfaces of optical components and substrates, and provides standards for the technical specifications of optical thin films.

The formulation defines general characteristics and necessary testing and measurement methods, but is not used to specify the deposition methods for optical thin films.

GB/T 26332 adopts the ISO 9211 series and consists of eight parts.

---Part 1: Terminology. The purpose is to standardize the technical descriptions of common terms related to optical thin films.

---Part 2: Optical Properties. The purpose is to standardize the description of various spectral properties of optical thin films.

---Part 3: Environmental Adaptability. The purpose is to specify the environmental testing methods applicable to assessing the environmental adaptability of optical thin-film components.

---Part 4: Test methods for friction, adhesion and water resistance. The purpose is to supplement the specification of detailed technical specifications for several environmental test methods.

The technical requirements, and the test methods therein are referenced in Part 3.

---Part 5: Basic Requirements for Antireflective Coatings. The purpose is to specify the basic requirements for commonly used antireflective coatings.

---Part 6: Basic Requirements for Reflective Films. The purpose is to specify the basic requirements for commonly used metal reflective films.

---Part 7: Basic Requirements for Neutral Bundle Membranes. The purpose is to specify the basic requirements for commonly used neutral bundle separators.

---Part 8: Basic Requirements for Laser Optical Thin Films. The purpose is to specify the basic requirements for commonly used laser optical thin films.

The first four parts of GB/T 26332 describe general specifications for optical thin films, while the remaining parts address specific applications.

The document specifies basic technical requirements for optical thin films. This document outlines friction and adhesion tests for assessing the environmental adaptability of optical thin films.

The test methods for water resistance testing are as follows. For the friction test, detailed requirements are specified for using degreased cotton gauze or rubber; for the adhesion test...

In the force test, detailed requirements are specified for three different test methods. "tape test," "cross-cut test," and "tensile test"; in the water resistance test...

The document specifies detailed requirements for immersing test samples in distilled water, deionized water, or saline solution.

3 Terms and Definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 26332.1 apply to this document.

4 Preparations before the experiment

It is recommended that coated samples be left in an atmospheric or usage environment for at least 12 hours before testing. The sample placement environment and time are also important.
