This document replaces GB 25684:5-2010 "Earth-moving Machinery Safety Part 5: Requirements for Hydraulic Excavators", and GB 25684:5-

Compared with:2010, except for structural adjustment and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:

a) The provisions on channels are deleted (see 4:2 of the:2010 edition);

b) The provisions on the minimum activity space have been deleted (see 4:3:1 of the:2010 edition);

c) Changed the provisions of the driver's protective equipment (see 4:2:1:1, 4:3:2:1 of the:2010 edition);

d) The provisions of rollover protection structure (ROPS) and rollover protection structure (TOPS) have been changed (see 4:2:1:2, 4:3:2:2 of the:2010 edition);

e) Deleted the protection of the round log shipping condition (see 4:3:2:3 of the:2010 edition);

f) Changed the provisions of the driver's seat (see 4:2:1:3, 4:3:3 of the:2010 edition);

g) Changed the provisions of the rear window (see 4:2:2, 4:3:4 of the:2010 edition);

h) Changed the provisions of the swing braking system (see 4:4, 4:5 of the:2010 edition);

k) Deleted the regulations on the export of walking excavators (see 4:8:1:3 of the:2010 edition);

l) Changed the provisions on the backhoe condition of walking excavators (see 4:6:4:2, 4:8:4:2 of the:2010 edition);

m) The provisions on the lifting conditions of walking excavators are added (see 4:6:4:3);

n) The provisions on the verification of safety requirements and/or protective measures have been deleted (see Chapter 5 of the:2010 edition);
