1 Scope

This document specifies the general safety requirements for earth-moving machinery as defined by ISO 6165, which are required for two or more families of earth-moving machinery:

Work devices for stone and other materials:

This document specifies all the heavy lifting of earth-moving machinery when it is used for the purpose specified by the manufacturer and under conditions of reasonable misoperation predicted by the manufacturer:

Major hazards, dangerous states and hazardous events (see Appendix A); and specifies the elimination or reduction of major hazards, dangerous states in use, operation and maintenance technical measures for risks arising from a state or hazardous event:
