Scope

GB/T 24955.1-2010 is the English-translated version of 船舶和海上技术 艏向发送设备(THDs) 第1部分:陀螺罗经.

GB/T 24955.1-2010 — This section GB/T 24955 specifies the "1974 International Convention for the Safety of Life at Sea," in line with the amended (SOLAS Convention) to the first chapter V Demand for heading gyro compass information transmission device structure, performance and testing.

Heading transmitting device (THD) is to provide a true ship heading information electronic devices. In addition to the general requirements should comply with the relevant standards and sensor components using predetermined IEC 60945 and IMOA.694 (17) resolution, the THD should meet the following minimum requirements.

If applied to the sensor means IMO performance standards not specified geographical area of \u200b\u200boperations, the THD operating range. a) The maximum rotational speed of 20 °/s; b) at least 70 ° N ~ 70 ° S. Comply with the requirements of SOLAS regulation V chapter heading for transmitting information THD shall comply with the provisions of this section.

However, the rate of 30kn ~ 70kn ship, shall comply with the provisions of IMOA.821 (19) resolution. In addition, THD should be consistent with "international HSC Code" (HSC Code) Chapter 13 with the requirements applicable to provide heading information Dynamic requirements apparatus.

Note 1. The heading information can be used to detect and transmit a variety of techniques. We will bow to detect and transmit respectively standardization is unreasonable.

Thus, each of the series of standards Section corresponding to different technologies, this section applies only to the gyro compass technology and other techniques corresponding to other parts of this series of standards.
