This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents"
drafted.
This document replaces GB/T 22698-2017 "Safety Guidelines for Multimedia Equipment". Compared with GB/T 22698-2017, except for structural adjustment
In addition to editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) the editions of IEC 60065 and IEC 60950-1 referred to in this document have been changed;
b) increased the use of IEC 62368-1 (see Chapter 1, 4.1);
c) Added 4.3 "Signs";
d) Added 4.5 "Devices Containing Coin Cell Batteries".
This document is equivalent to IEC Guide112.2017 "Safety Guidelines for Multimedia Equipment", and the document type is adjusted from IEC guidelines to my country's
national standard.
A chapter "Terms and Definitions" has been added to this document.

Introduction
This document contains several guidelines for evaluating the safety of multimedia equipment using IEC 60065 and IEC 60950-1.
This document has been developed on the basis of the following basic principles.
--- Equipment meeting the requirements of IEC 60065 and equipment meeting the requirements of IEC 60950-1 are considered safe when used independently;
--- The above equipment interconnected in accordance with installation instructions in a multimedia system is also considered safe.
It should be noted that there are some differences between the above two documents.
In addition to the requirements specified in IEC 60065 and IEC 60950-1, this document also gives other requirements that should be met.
For multimedia systems including Class I and Class II equipment, the connection to the power supply should ensure a reliable connection to the protective earth of Class I equipment.
