1 Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of native starch, modified starch the total fat content of solvent extraction.

This standard applies to the total fat content of less than starch samples 1.5g/100g of.

3 Terms and Definitions

5 Reagents

6 Instruments

Glassware should be connected.

6.1 extractor. Soxhlet extractor.

6.3 Disc Filter paper. Aperture 10µm, solvent-free (5.1) soluble substances.

6.4 Casing. suitable for extraction, a solvent-free (5.1) soluble substances.

6.6 efficient water-cooled condenser snake. to seal the upper end of the extractor connector (6.1).

6.7 electric heating means. with a temperature controller.
