Technical content and composition and structure of this part of ISO 20242-1:2005 is consistent.

The Standard made the following editorial changes.

Introduction

To promote integrated automation and measuring apparatus and its peripheral components and computer applications, should the international automobile industry and the needs of manufacturers, a special Set GB/T 22270. This standard defines an automated/measurement applications environment of device drivers to create rules and their operation.

The main purpose of the development of GB/T 22270 is to enable users to.

--- Is not confined to computer operating systems;

--- Without device connection technology (device interface/network) limitations;

--- From equipment suppliers limitations;

--- At a given computer platform, the connected device can verify the device driver, and confirm that the operation of the device driver;

--- Not restrict future development of the technology and equipment.

1 Scope
