This part is part 5 of GB/T 22181.

This part is drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This part of the replacement GB/T 11482-1989 "AC plasma display device general specification (for certification)". This part with GB/T 11482-1989 compared to the editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- Added terms. average display brightness, average image level, gamut coverage, high gray color gamut coverage, low gray color gamut coverage Rate, average power consumption, viewing angle, brightness angle of view, contrast angle, chroma angle, dynamic image resolution, image stripe, flicker and noise Sound and its definition (see 3.1);

- the addition of quality assessment categories, screening and operation (see 4.4, 4.5 and 4.6);

- In the quality assessment process, the division of the inspection group has been modified, the supplementary procedure for simplified testing and the LTPD sampling plan have been added (See 5.11.2, 5.11.4 and 5.12.2);

--- Test items and test methods using GB/T 22181.21-2008, GB/T 22181.22-2008, GB/T 22181.23-2012 and SJ/T 11379-2008 standard items and methods;

- Added Appendix A [Batch Permitted Nonconforming Product Rate (LTPD) Sampling Plan] and Appendix B (Basic description of the specification).

1 Scope

This part of GB/T 22181 is the general specification for plasma display devices. It specifies the quality of the IEC Q-CECC system with the procedures, and provides the electrical, optical, image display, mechanical and environmental performance description and testing of the general requirements.

This section applies to plasma display devices.
