This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part
1.Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents". Drafting. This document replaces GB/T 19525.2-2004 "Environmental Quality Assessment Criteria for Livestock and Poultry Farms". Compared with GB/T 19525.2-2004, except for the conclusion... Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows:
a) The scope of application has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2004 edition);
b) Terms and definitions have been changed (see Chapter 3, Chapter 2 of the.2004 edition);

1 Scope

This document specifies the evaluation procedures, evaluation factors, environmental monitoring, environmental quality assessment, and recording for large-scale livestock and poultry farms. material. 4.1 Survey Preparation
4.1.1 Review relevant laws, regulations, policy documents, technical guidelines and standards.
4.1.2 Based on the requirements of the evaluation task, determine the evaluation boundaries and formulate an evaluation work plan.
4.1.3 Conduct on-site investigations of the basic conditions of the farms and collect information on local natural and social conditions as well as basic information on the livestock farms.
4.1.4 Preliminary analysis of the characteristics and environmental status of livestock and poultry farm construction projects.
4.2 Environmental Monitoring Based on the evaluation work plan and preliminary analysis results, environmental elements were identified, evaluation factors were determined, and monitoring time, site selection, and methods were specified. Conduct on-site monitoring.
4.3 Data Analysis The monitoring data is analyzed, and an evaluation is made based on relevant standards and quality grading criteria.
4.4 Report Preparation The environmental quality assessment report for livestock and poultry farming should summarize and generalize all assessment work, and the text should be accurate and concise, making full use of figures, tables, and other visual aids. The photos clearly present the arguments and are easy to read and review. The content and format of the livestock and poultry breeding environment quality assessment report are shown in Appendix A.
5 Evaluation Factors
Based on the evaluation objective, the corresponding evaluation factors should be determined from Appendix B.
6.1 Sampling Location
6.1.1 Determination of sampling locations for air and sound environment in the dormitory area For naturally ventilated livestock sheds, sampling points should be located in the center of the shed and downwind of the shed, near the ventilation openings; for mechanically ventilated livestock sheds... Sampling points should be located in the center of the poultry house and at the exhaust vents. The sampling height should be determined based on the type of livestock and poultry and the feeding process. The height should be located at the average height of the livestock and poultry activity area, and at least two sampling points should be arranged at each sampling location.
6.1.2 Determination of Air Environment Sampling Locations in the Site Sampling was conducted using a grid-based sampling method, dividing the ground outside the livestock and poultry sheds into several uniform grid squares, with sampling points set along two straight lines. At the intersection or center of the grid, the sampling point should be at least 1m above the ground.
6.1.3 Determination of Air Environment Sampling Locations in Waste Treatment Areas Sampling was conducted using a fan-shaped sampling method, with the center of the waste treatment area as the vertex and the prevailing wind direction as the axis, and a field was drawn on the ground downwind. A sector-shaped area is designated as the sampling area, and the sampling points are at least 1m above the ground.
6.1.4 Determination of water environment sampling locations in waste treatment areas The specific sampling shall be determined according to the treatment and utilization destination of liquid manure from livestock and poultry farms, and shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 27522.
6.2 Sampling Frequency
6.2.1 The sampling frequency for air environment and sound environment shall be no less than 3 times, and the sampling interval shall be no less than 4 hours.
6.2.2 The frequency of water environment sampling in the waste treatment area shall be in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 27522.

7.1 Environmental Quality Pollution Index Assessment
7.1.1 The pollution index for a single indicator is calculated according to formula (1).
7.1.2 The comprehensive pollution index is calculated according to formula (2).
7.2 Data Validity and Rounding
7.2.1 All basic items of the evaluation indicators specified in the document shall be reviewed in accordance with relevant data statistics and data review requirements, and completed data shall be used. The valid monitoring data reviewed should be evaluated. All valid monitoring data should be included in the evaluation.
7.2.2 Statistical data for evaluation indicators should undergo final rounding before being included in the evaluation. The monitoring results of various parameters should retain the corresponding number of decimal places according to the corresponding method. According to regulations, when the rounded result is 0, one significant digit is retained. Data rounding rules follow GB/T 8170 Numerical Rounding. Agreement rules.
7.3 Environmental Quality Classification
7.3.1 The pollution index of a single indicator represents the degree of pollution based on the actual calculated index value, without quality classification.
7.3.2 Factors whose selected monitoring factors do not meet any of the mandatory standards listed in Appendix B will not be subject to quality grading.
7.3.3 The environmental quality classification of livestock and poultry farms is based on the magnitude of the comprehensive pollution index of the livestock and poultry farm's environmental quality. The specific classification is as specified in Table 1. implement.
8.Record Data The environmental quality assessment process for livestock and poultry farming should be documented. These records should be properly preserved for traceability, and the retention period is 5 years.
