3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18820 and GB/T 21534 apply to this document.
3.1 Purified terephthalic acid production
Using p-xylene as the raw material and acetic acid as the solvent, under the action of a catalyst, compressed air is introduced to cause an oxidation reaction to produce crude p-benzene Dicarboxylic acid, crude terephthalic acid and then hydrogenation reaction to remove impurities, the whole process of obtaining purified terephthalic acid.
3.2 Water withdrawal per ton of purified terephthalic acid
During the statistical period, the entire process of producing each ton of purified terephthalic acid requires the amount of water extracted from various conventional water sources.
4 Calculation method
4.1 General rules
4.1.1 Scope of water withdrawal
The scope of water withdrawal refers to the amount of water extracted by the company from various conventional water sources, including surface water (measured by water purification plant water supply), groundwater, The amount of water in urban water supply projects and other water or water products (such as steam, hot water, geothermal water, etc.) purchased by enterprises from the market.
4.1.2 Supply range of water intake
The scope of supply of purified terephthalic acid water intake includes. main production (para-xylene oxidation. air compression, oxidation reaction, crude terephthalic acid Crystallization, crude terephthalic acid solid separation, tail gas treatment, solvent dehydration, solvent and catalyst recovery, etc. Hydrorefining. preparation of refined feed, adding Hydrogen reaction, PTA crystallization, PTA solid separation, PTA drying, PTA product transportation, etc.), auxiliary production (refrigeration, air pressure, air separation, hydrogen production […]
