1 Scope

GB/T 18916.42-2019 is the Chinese national standard on norm of water intake - part 42: huangjiu production, in the field of environment and health protection, safety. The /T suffix marks it as a recommended standard: it is not compulsory by itself, but it becomes binding as soon as a contract, a tender or a customer specification calls it up - which in practice is how most foreign buyers meet it. It was issued on 4 June 2019 by the State Administration for Market Regulation; Standardization Administration of China, and has been in force since 1 October 2019. 3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 18820 and GB/T 21534 apply to this document.

3.1 Yellow wine manufacturing Huangjiuproduction Rice, glutinous rice, millet, corn, wheat, water, etc. are used as the main raw materials, and are made by adding koji or other enzyme preparations, yeast and other saccharification starters. The original wine of yellow wine, and the production process of finished yellow wine by the processes of blending, filtering and filling.
