1 Scope

GB/T 18916 This section gives the iron ore beneficiation water quota terms and definitions, calculation methods and water quota. This section applies to the existing, new and renovation and expansion of iron ore processing enterprises to take over the management of water.

3 Terms and definitions

GB/T 18820 and GB/T 21534 defined terms and definitions apply to this document.

4.1 General Provisions

4.1.1 water withdrawal range The range of water withdrawal refers to the amount of water the enterprise extracts from various conventional sources of water, including those taken from surface water (measured by the water supply of the water treatment plant), groundwater, Urban water supply projects, and other water or water products (such as steam, hot water, geothermal water, etc.) purchased by the enterprise from the market. The amount of water should be added to factories and mines that send the concentrate to pipelines in different places and no longer reclaim the filtered water.
