GB/T 18703-2021 — This standard specifies the laboratory measurement and measurement of the vibration transmission rate of gloves with damping materials (covering the palm, fingers and thumb). Evaluation method, that is, when the vibration is at the 1/3 octave band and the center frequency range is 25Hz~1250Hz, according to the vibration from the handle to the palm. Transfer methods for laboratory measurement, data analysis and reporting of glove vibration transmission rate. The measurement method specified in this standard can also be used for the measurement of the vibration transmission rate of the vibration damping material that covers the handle of the machine or may be used in the glove. quantity. However, when the material covering the handle meets this standard according to the measurement results of this standard, it cannot be used to determine that it is the anti-vibration covering. With this If the measured material is used on gloves, in this case, the gloves need to be measured according to the measurement steps in this standard and meet this standard The quasi-vibration reduction performance requirements can be judged as anti-vibration gloves. Note. GB/T 19739 [1] specifies a method for screening the materials used for machine handle vibration damping and gloves.

Introduction

As people's requirements for reducing the health hazards of exposure to hand-transmitted vibrations are gradually increasing, gloves with vibration damping materials are usually used for

Attenuate the vibration transmitted to the hand. When the vibration frequency is lower than 150Hz, this kind of gloves can usually only weakly reduce the hand-transmitted vibration.

The sleeve may even increase the vibrations transmitted to the hand. According to the classification requirements of this standard, anti-vibration gloves with anti-vibration materials can attenuate the vibration frequency

Vibration transmitted to the hand when the frequency is higher than 150 Hz. Such gloves can reduce but not eliminate the health risks of exposure to hand-borne vibration.

Field observations show that gloves with damping materials can cause both positive and negative health effects. The positive side is that it can reduce fingers

The tingling and numbness keep the hands warm and dry. The negative effect is that it can increase the vibration transmitted to the hand during low-frequency vibration, and

Moreover, since wearing anti-vibration gloves to control the vibration machine needs to increase the grip strength, it also increases the fatigue of the hands and arms.

The evaluation of the anti-vibration performance of gloves according to the requirements of this standard is carried out in a controlled laboratory environment. The actual vibration reduction of gloves in the working environment is

Measurement results in a controlled laboratory environment may vary.

According to the requirements of this standard, the measurement of vibration transmission rate is only for the palm, and the vibration transmission rate of the fingers is not within the measurement range.

When evaluating the damping effect of gloves with damping materials, it is also appropriate to evaluate the vibration transmitted to the fingers. After the publication of this standard, follow-up studies are needed.

This measurement method is used to measure the vibration transmission rate of the finger part of the glove.

The measurement methods specified in this standard only involve the characteristics of gloves that can reduce the health risks associated with hand-transmitted vibrations in the working environment. It didn't

There are glove characteristics that are necessary to reduce other health and safety risks related to hands in the work environment.

The measurement method specified in this standard can also be used to measure the vibration transmission rate of the vibration damping material that covers the handle of the machine or may be used for gloves.

Measurement and Evaluation of Vibration Transmission Rate of Glove Palm

Warning --- This standard defines a screening test method by measuring the transmission of vibration on gloves with damping materials. There is still a lot

Many factors that are not included in this standard will also affect the vibration transmission of such gloves. Therefore, the value of vibration transmission rate obtained according to this standard is being evaluated

The gloves should be used with caution when damping the effect.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions defined in GB/T 2298 and GB/T 15619 apply to this document.

3.1

Glovevibrationtransmissibility

The ratio of the acceleration measured on the gloved palm adaptor to the acceleration measured on the instrument handle.

Note. When the vibration transmission rate of the glove is greater than 1, it indicates that the glove has increased the vibration; the value is less than 1 indicates that the glove has reduced the vibration.
