2001 "Wheelchairs - Part 9.. electric wheelchairs climatic test methods" (in English) of this section is equivalent ISO 7176-9 adoption.
This Part replaces GB/T 15495-1995 "electric wheelchairs climatic test methods." this section compared with the original GB/T 15495-1995, the main differences are.
In this section all the technical indicators, parameters, formulas, performance requirements, test methods, inspection rules made in accordance with the principles specified in ISO 7176 set. Compared with the original national standard, this section has changed greatly.
a) increase the standard definition of control devices and environmental conditions.
b) The section on the "standard environmental conditions" has been revised, the original standard environment standard for 23 °C, relative humidity of 50%, while in the present Section standard environmental conditions (20 ± 5) °C, relative humidity of (60 ± 20)%.
c) increasing the facility chapter.
d) test method for rain conditions, the low temperature environment, high temperature working environment, low temperature storage conditions, five kinds of high-temperature storage test environment Test environment has been revised, the high and low temperature environment and storage environment were tested concretely defined.
GB/T 18029.9-2008/ISO 7176-9:2001
e) a description of function test increases, and the refinement of the specific methods of operation.
f) for intuitive and easy to use, this section IEC 60529:2001 for water spray test equipment and methods as an appendix NA.
This section is informative Annex NA appendix.
This section proposed by the People's Republic of China Ministry of Civil Affairs.
This part of the National Rehabilitation and special equipment Standardization Technical Committee on Persons with Disabilities (SAC/TC148) centralized.

Introduction
Wheelchairs may be used in harsh environments or storage, which can seriously affect their function, sometimes dangerous.
Using these test methods to determine whether a wheelchair and to what extent vulnerable to environmental conditions.
Operational test under the rain, hot and cold conditions to simulate usage in a wide range of climate change on Earth conditions.
