This document replaces GB/T 18029.6-2009 "Wheelchairs Part 6.Maximum speed, acceleration and deceleration of electric wheelchairs"
Compared with GB/T 18029.6-2009, in addition to structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
-- Deleted the measurement of acceleration (see Chapter 7 of the.2009 edition);
-- The determination of deceleration has been deleted (see Chapter 8 of the.2009 edition).
This document is equivalent to ISO 7176-6.2018 "Wheelchairs Part 6.Determination of the maximum speed of electric wheelchairs".
Introduction
GB/T (Z) 18029 Wheelchairs is a standard for ensuring the performance and quality of wheelchairs and accurately providing these performance and quality to relevant parties.
Wheelchair users want to know the performance and quality of the product, and manufacturers want to know if the product has achieved good quality.
The organization wants to know how to inspect the product. Because GB/T (Z) 18029 is too long, and the parties using the document generally only need
Some of the contents are not updated synchronously, so they are compiled in parts, and are planned to consist of 24 parts.

Maximum speed is an important factor in choosing a wheelchair that is suitable for an individual. Some people require a wheelchair that is faster, while others prefer a higher speed.
Other parts of the GB/T (Z) 18029 series of standards also require the measurement of the maximum speed of wheelchairs.
This document provides a consistent method for measuring the maximum speed of wheelchairs to facilitate comparison of test results.
