What this standard covers

This standard specifies the IC card -based (ICC) in the inter-industry exchange or referenced directly using the data element (DE), including composite DE. This standard identifies each of the DE of the following characteristics: identifier, name, Description and ISO reference standard, format and encoding (if in other countries standards or GB/T 16649 no other parts). The layout of each DE by the interface device (IFD) and the ICC have seen the interface between the described premises. This standard defines the card retrieval DE means (historical bytes, reset, execute commands and commands defined in this standard). This standard gives the definition of DE, DE usage without considering any restriction. Expected that the new inter-industry data object will be incorporated into the standard procedures to be followed regarding Chapter 7.
