GB/T 16492-1996 — This standard specifies the type of instrument tests to determine their suitability as required under predetermined environmental conditions.

This standard applies to optical instruments and instruments equipped with optical parts, and provides the requirements when subjected to environmental impact, job characteristics instrument optical, mechanical, chemical and electrical properties of reliability, or aspects of the instrument should meet, and thus also provides application areas range of the instrument and technical fields.
