GB/T 15721 "Prosthetics and orthotics - Limb deficiencies" is divided into five parts.

For ease of use, this section made the following editorial changes.

a) Remove the preface to the international standards;

b) "this International Standard" by "this section." this Part replaces GB/T 15721.3-1995 "Prosthetics and orthotics - Limb deficiencies - Part 3. Description of upper limb amputation stumps Party law". Section compared with the GB/T 15721.3-1995, major changes in the following.
