1 Scope

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

3.1 Horizontal crossdirection

The direction perpendicular to the running direction of the paper machine.

3.2 Vertical machinedirection

The direction parallel to the running direction of the paper machine.

3.3 Trimmedsize

The size of the original paper after cutting according to GB/T 148.

3.4 Untrimmedsize

The size of the untrimmed paper.

3.5 Primaryrange

Untrimmed paper is used for cutting into the size specified in GB/T 148.The trimming process only needs to be processed simply.

3.6 Supplementary range

Untrimmed paper, used for cutting to the size specified in GB/T 148.This trimming process requires more cutting than the basic format.
