Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 147-1997 "Size of base paper for printing, writing and drawing". Compared with GB/T 147-1997, this standard

The main technical changes are as follows.

---Modified the scope of application (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.1997 edition);

---Modified the normative references (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the.1997 edition);

---Added terms and definitions (see Chapter 3);

---Modified the representation method of size and direction (see Chapter 4, Chapter 3 of the.1997 edition);

---Adjusted the method of expressing the size of flat paper, and merged the width of the roll paper with the size of the flat paper (see Chapter 5,

Chapter 4 and Chapter 5 of the.1997 edition).

This standard uses the redrafting method to amend and adopt ISO 217.2013 "Nomenclature and Tolerances of Basic Paper Uncut Edge Dimensions and Supplementary Formats"

And vertical representation.

The technical differences between this standard and ISO 217.2013 and the reasons are as follows.

--- Regarding normative references, this standard has made adjustments with technical differences to adapt to my country's technical conditions and adjustments.

The situation is collectively reflected in Chapter 2 "Normative Reference Documents", and the specific adjustments are as follows.

* Replace ISO 216 with the non-equivalent adopting international standard GB/T 148;

* Replace ISO 187 with GB/T 10739, which is equivalent to the international standard.

--- According to the actual purpose of the standard, the scope of application has been modified (see Chapter 1).

---The width of the web has been increased to meet my country's national conditions (see 5.3).

---Modified the allowable deviation to conform to my country's national conditions (see 6.1).

1 Scope

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

The direction perpendicular to the running direction of the paper machine.

The size of the original paper after cutting according to GB/T 148.
