Foreword

This revised standard adopts the International Standard ISO 3346. 1975 "wood grain ultimate tensile stress determination." this standard and ISO 3346. 1975 The main difference compared to the technical content as follows.

--- 4.2 Modify measurement tools vernier caliper or other measuring tools (1975 edition and 4.2).

--- 5.3 modify the effective part of the sample (refer to the middle section of the specimen 30mm) texture should be perpendicular to the long axis of the specimen. Transition specimen Arc portion should be smooth and symmetrical with the center line of the sample. Tangential thickness of the active portion of the sample should have a complete growth ring (1975 in this edition and 5.3).

This standard replaces GB/T 14017-1992 "wood grain tensile strength testing." this standard compared with GB/T 14017-1992, the following changes.

--- 4.2 Modify measurement tools vernier caliper or other measuring tools (1992 edition and 4.2);

--- 5.1 modify, test material sawing and test specimens shall comply with GB/T 1929-2009 the provisions of Chapter 3, delete the original image. 1 and 2 (1992 edition and 5.1);

--- Of 5.2 in FIG. 1 redrawn (1992 edition and 5.2);

--- Remove 6.3 "will undermine load fill in Appendix A (Supplement) records in the table" (1992 edition and 6.3);

--- Edit "8 recording and reporting test results", according to the test results recorded in Appendix A fill; the test report according to GB/T 1928-7.4 in 2009 to write the contents of the provisions (of 1992 and Chapter 8 of this edition);

1 Scope

This standard specifies the wood grain tensile test equipment, samples, test procedures and results of calculation measurement.

4 Test Equipment

4.1 test machine, load measurement accuracy should be consistent with GB/T 1928-2009 Chapter 6 requirements.
