Foreword

This revised standard adopts ISO 5267-2:2001 "Determination of pulp drainage performance - Part 2." Canadian Standard "freeness method." this standard and ISO 5267-2:2001 and its causes differences in Appendix B.

This standard replaces GB/T 12660-1990 "Determination of pulp drainage performance of" Canadian Standard "freeness method." this standard compared with GB/T 12660-1990, the main changes are as follows.

--- Increased the preamble;

--- Increased principle, Appendix A, Appendix B of the relevant content;

--- In Chapter 6 sets out the entire testing process should use the standard distilled or deionized water;

--- In Chapter 7, the method of calculating the increase in the concentration of the pulp and content.

The standard Appendix C, Appendix D, Appendix E, Appendix F, Appendix G are normative appendices, Appendix A, Appendix B is an informative annex.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the method of the pulp suspension filtration performance measurement, results with the "Canadian Standard" freeness, said unit Ml.

In principle, the method is applicable to the determination of various pulp suspension.

Note. The large number of fine fibers on the freeness may cause irregular rise untrue freeness value is generally lower than 100mL.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.
