b) use of dual transformer winding or double winding converter output transformer. Insulation between the windings of these transformers should be the group This insulation or reinforced insulation.

NOTE: For converter transformers or with II type lamps basic insulation between the member and the output circuit of the transformer or the converter requires attachment fixture accessible Add insulation.

For between the input and output circuits with reinforced insulation, two-winding transformer, the output circuit is connected or accessible to the accessible portion Not more than one electrode pieces. This requirement applies only to the output circuit voltage exceeds 24V case.

6.2 If the lamp output class II electrode is accessible, as a reinforcement between the input and output windings insulation shall comply with the following Claim.

a) an input and output windings should be spaced apart from the insulating layer, the structure should be done in the two windings can not pass directly or indirectly Over other metallic connection.

b) in particular, to take the following precautions to prevent.

--- input winding and output winding displacement or rotation of the input or output windings of the winding.

--- displacement of internal wiring or external connecting wires, in case the wiring breakage at the joint or joints adjacent the loose winding or the Unintended displacement portion of the terminal member.

--- in the event of release or release, wires, screws, washers and the like across the output circuit between the input circuit comprising Any insulating member between the windings. Examples of structures that meet these requirements, see Appendix A.

The provisions of Chapter 10 of the 7000.1 Application GB.

Test voltage between the power supply and output circuits should be identical to the test circuit and the voltage between the power supply housing.

15 Heat, fire resistance and resistance to tracking

The provisions of Chapter 13 of GB 7000.1 apply.

Appendix A (Normative)

Examples of structures Examples winding structure conforms 6.2 requirements are.

a) wound on a separate bobbin sufficient insulating capability of the winding material;

b) wound on a single bobbin with sufficient insulation capability of winding the separator, the separator frame and a stamped or molded member, or push With an intermediate of formula separator into a sheath or covering layer at the junction of the skeleton and a separator;

c) wound on a thin insulating layer coated skeleton or a coaxial winding transformer core, between each input coil and the output coil at least Using the triple insulated, wherein two layers of material placed in contact, when the test voltage is applied to the outer surfaces of both the insulating layer can withstand add Strong insulation test voltage.

All windings should be fixed in a reliable manner the last lap, the gap may extend through the entire sheet with an insulating material or a material hard bake And effectively seal the end of the coil. Two separate joints are not released simultaneously.
