Scope

GB 50428-2015 is the English-translated version of 油田采出水处理设计规范.

GB 50428-2015 — This standard is applicable to the design of oilfield production water treatment projects for newly built, expanded and rebuilt oilfields in land oilfields and beach seas.

After the oilfield produced water is treated, it should be used for oilfield water injection. When used for other purposes or emissions, the national laws, regulations, and current standards must be strictly enforced.

The oilfield produced water treatment project should be designed and constructed simultaneously with the crude oil dewatering project. When the crude oil dewatering project produces produced water, the produced water treatment project shall be put into operation.
