1 Scope

This Standard specifies energy efficiency grades, technical requirements and test

methods of low ambient temperature air source heat pumps (water chiller) packages.

This Standard is applicable to the air-water low ambient temperature air source heat

pumps (water chiller) packages driven by electric motors and operating at the low

ambient temperature; low ambient temperature air source heat pumps water heater for

heating; heating-purposed low temperature heat pump water heater for commercial &

industrial and similar application.

This Standard is not applicable to the low ambient temperature air source multi-

connected air conditioning packages and air-air type low ambient temperature air

source heat pump packages.
