2 Scope

This standard specifies the product classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marks for package and implementation of this standard involved in the allowable limit of harmful substances of industrial protective coatings to human body and the environment. This standard is applicable to various industrial protective coatings (except marine coatings) rather than the putty intended to protect metal, concrete, plastic and other surfaces. This standard does not apply to coatings for aerospace, nuclear power, military equipment and facilities.
