(Informative)
Use pile carpets and grades A.1 General Assessment on use classification is to protect the interests of consumers for the application of this standard is intended to provide guidance to consumers so they can buy laid Appropriate in a specific area of use rating pile carpet products.
A.2 pile carpet using a hierarchical assessment Pile carpets can be divided according to their type of use.
a) full pile carpets (including carpet tiles);
b) pile rugs, carpet corridor.
A.2.1 fitted pile carpets use classification and luxury rating Fitted pile carpets using adaptive use as the basis for classification is divided into residential, commercial three levels each. Based carpet the abrasion resistance of the product (mass loss) of the carpet surface appearance retention test (change in appearance), and used to determine the suitability of the carpet strength (light resistance of pedaling frequency, the frequency of resistance to moderate depression, severe depression frequency generally resistant, to severe pedaling frequency, resistance heavily pedaling frequency).
The overall level of use in a single test level two, i.e., wear and appearance retention of a lower rating determined.
Luxury grade (walking comfort) is based on test results to calculate the level of the luxury class.
A.2.1.1 fitted pile carpets classification (see Table A.1) Full pile carpets basis weight per unit area of the pile of the pile thickness, blanket group may be divided into two categories, according to different classification for making with grading test and evaluation.
