Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document partially replaces GB/T 25081-2010 "High Voltage Live Indicator Display Device (VPIS)". Compared with GB/T 25081-2010, except for...

Aside from structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

---The normal and special usage conditions have been changed (see Chapter 4, Chapter 2 of the 2010 edition);

---The content related to the phase recognizer has been removed (see sections 5.1.2 and 5.6 of the 2010 version);

---The requirements for voltage limiting components have been changed (see 6.5, 5.4.3 of the 2010 version);

---The protection level requirements for test points have been changed (see 6.11.1, 5.1.3 of the 2010 version);

---Added requirements for the connection cables of the High Voltage Detection and Display (VDIS) device (see 6.6, 7.12);

---Added requirements for VDIS test points (see 6.7, 7.5);

---Added requirements for VDIS connection points (see 6.8);

---Added climate requirements for VDIS (see 6.12, 7.13, 7.15, and 7.16);

---Added mechanical requirements for VDIS (see 6.13, 7.17, 7.18);

---Added requirements for VDIS insulation strength (see 6.15, 7.3);

---Added the requirement for VDIS with built-in power supply (see 6.16, 7.21);

This document is modified to adopt IEC 62271-213:2021 "High voltage switchgear and controlgear - Part 213: Voltage detection and display equipment".

Placement.

This document has undergone significant structural adjustments compared to IEC 62271-213:2021.A comparison of the structural numbering changes between the two documents is provided below.

See Appendix B for the table of contents.

This document differs significantly from IEC 62271-213:2021.The differences are indicated in the margins of the relevant clauses.

Vertical single lines (丨) are indicated. A summary of these technical differences and their reasons can be found in Appendix C.

The following editorial changes have been made to this document.

---To align with my country's standards system, the standard's name has been changed to "High Voltage Detection and Display Devices";

---Added a note regarding "test components" (see 3.17);

---Added a note regarding "Examples of Typical Integrated VDIS Architectures" (see Figure 1);

---Added a note regarding "Examples of typical split-type VDIS structures" (see Figure 2);

---The relevant content of IEC 61243-5 (see Chapter 1, 6.7.3, and Annex A of IEC 62271-213:2021) has been deleted from the informative references.

---The note regarding "Appendix B relating to certain countries" has been deleted (see 6.4.2 of IEC 62271-213:2021);

---The note regarding "requirements for test point output signals" has been deleted (see 6.7.3 of IEC 62271-213:2021);

---Duplicate content has been removed (see 6.9.2 and 7.1.2 of IEC 62271-213:2021);

---Corrected some editing errors in Appendix A;

---The section on "Notes relating to certain countries" has been removed (see Annex B of IEC 62271-213:2021);

---Informative Appendix B and Informative Appendix C have been added.
