1 Scope

This section GB 21976 specifies the building with fire escape evacuation equipment, installation, inspection, replacement, retirement and other requirements.

This section applies to all types have been built, new construction, expansion, renovation of crowded public buildings, such as hotels, restaurants, shopping malls, halls and other places.

All types of residential buildings may be performed with reference to this section.

3 Terms and Definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this section.

In the case of building fire, auxiliary equipment escape fire escape of persons in distress when used (such as escape ease down, escape ladders, Escape chute, etc.).

Also known as life-saving relief to drop, a user automatically drop by its own weight at a certain speed and can be used to escape the reciprocating equipment.

4 Equipment Category

4.1 Press equipment structure can be divided into.

a) cord. as escape ease down, emergency escape devices, escape justice;

b) slide. such escape slide;

c) Ladder. such as fixed escape ladder, escape ladders suspended;

d) Respirator. such as fire filter self contained breathing apparatus, fire chemical oxygen self contained breathing apparatus.

4.2 by work equipment can be divided into.

a) a single person escape. such escape ease down, emergency escape devices, escape rope, hanging escape ladders, fire filter self contained breathing apparatus, chemical Oxygen self contained breathing apparatus and other fire;

b) people escape. such as escape chute, escape ladders and other stationary.

Equipment refuge in escape rope, braid, rubber and easy to aging and other vulnerable parts should be replaced on a regular basis. See related product replacement cycle Technical specifications and product standards. Should be replaced using the original parts.

9 Scrapped

9.1 refuge escape equipment must be scrapped in the following cases.

a) severe corrosion of metal parts or deformation;

b) reach the equipment life.

9.2 scrapped equipment should escape refuge destructive disintegration treatment, continued use is prohibited.
