GB 19149-2003 is the English-translated version of 空载输出电压超过1000V的管形放电灯用变压器(霓虹灯变压器)的一般要求和安全要求.
GB 19149-2003 — This Chinese standard applies to the input and output windings separate standalone or built-in single-phase transformers, They use 50 Hz or 60 Hz, 1000 V ac power supply can be made to the cold cathode tube -shaped lights (or such lamp assembly) powered and make it stable.
Such light -load rated output voltage exceeding 1000 V but not exceeding 10 000 V, suitable for lighting, electrical advertising, light signals and similar purposes.
To ensure the safety of such a transformer, the need to test its performance. The absence of such a lamp characteristics to be standardized, so the standard reference load will be defined to ensure the reproducibility of test results.
On vessels, vehicles and other special places and the presence of explosive and other dangerous places, require the use of special structure.
This standard does not apply to the following types of lamp power supply transformer, low and high pressure sodium lamp, high pressure mercury lamps, halogen lamps, xenon lamps, hot cathode fluorescent tubes as well as copiers and other equipment used in special lights.
This standard does not apply to auto-transformer and electronic converter. This standard also available as part of its purpose and scope of the provisions of this transformer is not the same, for example, transformers and other photographic lamp guiding principles.
However, their characteristics should belong to the scope of this standard as required within the general principles, and it has no specific standards. Capacitors shall meet the GB 18489-2001. The test of this standard are type tests.
