1 Scope

This standard is applicable to food additive - shellac flakes which are produced by the thermal filtration or solvent method, the food additive - shellac flakes which are produced by decolorization of activated carbon, food additive shellac (also known as shellac) which is produced by bleaching through decolorizer.

2 Technical requirements

2.1 Sensory requirements

Sensory requirements shall be in accordance with Table 1.
