Foreword

The full technical content of this standard is mandatory. This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009. This standard replaces GB 18040-2008 "Civil Transportation Airport Emergency Rescue Facilities". This standard is compared with GB 18040-2008. In addition to editorial changes, the main technical contents are changed as follows:

--- The standard name was changed to "Equipment for emergency transportation facilities in civil transportation airports";

--- Revised the scope of application of the standard (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the.2008 edition);

--- Revised the terminology and definitions related to airport emergency care (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the.2008 edition);

This standard stipulates the level of emergency protection for civil transport airports (hereinafter referred to as "airports"), and shall provide emergency rescue work mechanisms and organizations.
