GB 15612-1995 is the English-translated version of 食品添加剂蒸馏单硬脂酸甘油酯.

GB 15612 is the product standard for distilled glycerol monostearate used as a food additive — the emulsifier that keeps fat and water together in bread, ice cream, margarine and instant noodles, and which is distilled to raise the monoester content well above that of the ordinary mono- and diglyceride mixture.
