GB 14882-1994 is the English-translated version of 食品中放射性物质限制浓度标准.

GB 14882 sets the maximum permitted concentrations of radionuclides in food in China, expressed in becquerels per kilogram — or per litre for milk — for each class of foodstuff. It is a short document, but it is the reference invoked whenever contamination is suspected, from a nuclear accident abroad to the routine surveillance of imported food, and it is accompanied by the derivation notes and by an annex giving the annual limits on intake from which the concentrations follow. Still in force after more than thirty years. Issued on 22 February 1994, in force since 1 September 1994; first edition.
