This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GB/T 12757-1991 "life-saving insulation tools." This standard compared with GB/T 12757-1991, the following main Variety.

--- Modify the color requirements of thermal insulation equipment (see 5.2.3, 1991 version 5.2.7);

--- Modify the wearing requirements and test methods (see 5.6.2 and 6.6.4, 1991 version 5.3);

--- Modify the cycle of high and low temperature requirements and test methods (see 5.5 and 6.4, 1991 version 5.2.5, 5.2.6 and 6.4);

--- Increase in the number of subjects (see 6.5.1, 1991 version 6.6.1.1);

--- Modify the inspection rules (see Chapter 7, 1991 version Chapter 7).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the life-saving insulation equipment (hereinafter referred to as insulation equipment) classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging and storage.

This standard applies to the lifeboat craft, rescue boats and other cold environments in the use of insulation equipment design, manufacture and acceptance.
