Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GA/T 994-2012 "Regulations on the Release of Road Access Status Information." Compared with GA/T 994-2012, except editing in addition to sexual modifications, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- The standard name "Circular Traffic Information Release Regulation" was revised as "Road Traffic Information Release Regulation" (see standard name, 2012) Version of the standard name);

This standard is proposed and managed by the Standardization Technical Committee on Road Traffic Management of the Ministry of Public Security.

1 Scope

This standard specifies the requirements for road traffic information content, release methods and release forms.

This standard is applicable to the release of traffic information on highways, national trunk highways and urban roads.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this document.

Traffic state the road is congested, slow or open.

Display unit display unit the unit road section showing the traffic status.

Interval speed point-to-pointspeed the arithmetic average of the travel speeds of a group of vehicles passing through a section of a road in a direction of travel.
