Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

This document replaces GA 778-2008 "Ten Finger Fingerprint Text Data Item Specification" and GA 779-2008 "On-site Fingerprint Text Data Item Specification" Fan" and GA 780-2008 "Specification of Data Items in Fingerprint Ratio", this document is mainly based on GA 778-2008, and integrates GA 779-2008, the content of GA 780-2008, compared with GA 778-2008, GA 779-2008, GA 780-2008, the main technical changes are as follows.

--- Modified from mandatory standard to recommended standard;

---The standard name is changed to "Fingerprint Information Data Item" (see the cover, GA 778-2008, GA 779-2008, GA 780-2008 cover);

--- Changed data items (see Chapter 5, Chapter 4 of GA 778-2008, GA 779-2008, GA 780-2008);

--- Deleted the data item and format of ten-finger fingerprint assistance investigation management (see 4.2 of GA 778-2008);

--- Deleted the data item and format of case co-investigation management (see 4.2 of GA 779-2008);

--- Deleted the data item and format of single fingerprint assisted investigation management (see 4.4 of GA 779-2008);

1 Scope

This document specifies the palmprint information data items involved in the automatic palmprint identification system.

This document is applicable to the collection and application of palmprint information for criminal investigation by public security organs.

Among them, dated citations documents, only the version corresponding to that date applies to this document; for undated references, the latest edition (including all amendments) applies to this document.

3 Terms and Definitions

Terms and definitions defined in GA/T 773-2019 apply to this document.

4 Statement

4.1 The internal identifiers and identifiers of the data elements used in this document shall comply with the provisions of GA/T 543 (all parts).

Internal identifiers and identifiers for qualifiers shall be written in accordance with GA/T 1054 (all parts).

4.2 Refer to Appendix A for data elements used in this document, and Appendix B for qualifiers.
