1 Scope

This standard stipulates in principle the construction process of urban police geographic information system, as well as the construction objectives, methods, contents and the technical requirements are followed to regulate the construction and management of police geographic information systems.

This standard applies to the construction of the whole process of the urban police geographic information system of the public security system.

2 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard 2.1 the process of information system construction begins with the formulation of requirements and the formation of concepts, after analysis and demonstration, system design and development, and use and maintenance processes.

Until the end of the system can not meet the user's needs for another round of system construction, the process is called the information system life cycle.

The police GIS is a spatial analysis function and powerful visual performance capability that is unique to GIS technology.

Integrate police data information with spatial information, and monitor the distribution and real-time operation of various police work elements in space.

Analyze its internal linkages, rationally configure and schedule resources, and improve the auxiliary analysis and decision-making of the rapid response and collaborative processing capabilities of various police departments.

Policy and command and dispatch information system.

3 Construction process

The process of information system construction starts from proposing requirements and forming concepts, after analysis and demonstration, system design and development, and use and maintenance processes.

Until the end, the user's needs could not be met and another round of system construction---software upgrade was carried out. This process is generally called the birth of an information system.

Information system lifecycle (informationsystemlifecycle). Police use of geographic information system (policegeographicinformationsystem) as a kind of information system, it also has its life cycle. In accordance with the principles of engineering methods for information system construction, combined with public security applications and geographical information the characteristics of the information system, the life cycle of the police GIS can be divided into nine stages. problem definition stage, feasibility analysis stage, demand score Analysis stage, overall design stage, detailed design, data organization stage, program coding stage, trial operation and review and acceptance stage, operation and maintenance stage.

3.1 Problem definition phase

The problem definition stage is to determine the needs of the current policing work and potential needs, determine what the system needs to solve, and determine the system construction.

Set goals, determine the scope of processing covered by the system construction, and so on.

3.2 Feasibility analysis stage

The feasibility analysis stage is the premise of the construction of the police GIS (the need for social development and current policing work), the environment (country the application status of internal and external geographic information systems in police work, the possibility of obtaining geographic information and the possibility of technology realization Hand, study whether the content and system construction goals determined in the previous stage have feasible solutions, and according to the scale and conditions of system construction, Formulate a preliminary development plan and complete the preparation of the feasibility study report document.

3.3 Demand Analysis Phase

The core of the requirements analysis phase is to determine what must be done in the construction of the police GIS. This stage is passed by the system analyst Through close cooperation and full communication with the user, the system logic model confirmed by the user is obtained, and various functions and performance requirements of the system are determined.

Design constraints and system acceptance criteria, complete the preparation of the requirements analysis report document.
