GA/T 459-2021Codes for materials, software and equipment for Resident Identity Card (English PDF)

Foreword

This document is in accordance with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" drafted.

This document replaces GA 459-2004 "Resident Identity Card Materials and Codes of Software and Equipment Used". Compared with GA 459-2004, the main the technical changes are as follows.

--- This document is changed from mandatory to recommended;

cover, cover of the 2004 edition);

--- Revised the description of the scope, and changed "resident identity card" to "resident identity card of the People's Republic of China" (see Chapter 1, 2004 edition Chapter 1);

--- Modified the code and filled up the code length (see Chapter 5, Table 1, Chapter 3, Table 1 of the 2004 edition);

---Modified the code. "JGL0190" was changed to "JGC0190", "JGL0291" was changed to "JGC0291", "JGL09" was changed to "JGC" 0900" (see Chapter 5, Table 1, Chapter 3, Table 1 of the 2004 edition).

This document specifies the coding rules and code tables for the relevant materials of the resident ID card of the People's Republic of China, as well as the software and equipment codes used.

This document is applicable to the production and management of resident identity cards of the People's Republic of China.
