1 Scope

This document provides the basic principles, work flow, planning scope and years, and examination status of the motor vehicle driver examination site layout planning.

Survey, analysis of examination status, forecast of examination demand, determination of planning indicators and design of examination venue layout planning scheme.

This document applies to the layout planning of new motor vehicle driver examination sites, and also applies to the layout planning of existing motor vehicle driver examination sites.

3 Terms and definitions

For the purposes of this document, the terms and definitions defined in GA 1026, GA 1029, and the following apply.

Self-built driver test place the public security organs apply for financial funds to build motor vehicle driver examination centers, which are managed and used by the traffic management departments of the public security organs.

Social driver test place Other motor vehicle driver examination centers except self-built examination centers.

4 Basic Principles

4.1 The layout planning of motor vehicle driver examination centers (hereinafter referred to as "examination centers") should be guided by the examination needs and follow the principle of balanced layout, high efficiency and convenience.

4.2 The following factors should be considered in the layout planning of the examination room.

a) Socioeconomic and demographic characteristics, motorization level, and driver characteristics;

b) Basic conditions and safety level of road traffic;

c) The distribution and examination capacity of existing examination centers in the region;

d) Future motor vehicle driver examination requirements;

e) Regional or urban planning;

f) Comprehensive or special planning for public security traffic management.

4.3 The layout planning of examination venues should meet the comprehensive benefits of society, economy and environment.
