1 Scope

This document specifies the overall requirements for the management of public security agency organization codes, as well as the code maintenance and usage requirements.

This document applies to the daily maintenance and application of the public security agency organization code.

The contents of the following documents constitute the essential clauses of this document through normative references in this document.

3 Terms and definitions

There are no terms or definitions that require definition in this document.

4 General requirements

4.1 The compilation of the organization code of the public security organs shall comply with the requirements of GA/T 380.Among them, the administrative division code shall comply with GB/T 2260.

For updated information on administrative division codes, please refer to the announcement of the Ministry of Civil Affairs.

4.2 Public security organs at all levels should use a unified public security agency organization code in information construction and application.

4.3 The public security agency organization code maintenance unit (hereinafter referred to as the "code maintenance unit") includes the Ministry of Public Security's science and technology information department, the Railway Public Security Department, the Ministry of Public Security's Science and Technology Information Department is responsible for the development of the science and technology information technology department, the anti-smuggling department of the General Administration of Customs, the national immigration management department, and the science and technology information technology departments of provincial public security organs.

The department is responsible for the maintenance of the organization codes of the Ministry's business bureaus and directly affiliated units, the railway public security department, the anti-smuggling department of the General Administration of Customs, and the National Immigration Administration.

The department is responsible for the maintenance of the organization code of the departments and institutions under its jurisdiction, and the science and technology information departments of the provincial public security organs are responsible for the organization code of the public security organs in their jurisdiction.

Code maintenance. The science and technology information department of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps is responsible for the maintenance of the organization code of the Corps' public security organs.

4.4 The political work department or the non-permanent institution approval department shall promptly notify the code maintenance department of the addition, cancellation or change of the institution by letter or other means.

Units, to ensure consistency between organizational changes and code maintenance.

Application should be made to the code maintenance unit to maintain the corresponding institution code.

4.5 The code maintenance unit is responsible for managing and supervising the maintenance and use of the organization code.
