This document replaces GA 777.4-2010 "Fingerprint Data Code Part 4: Type Code of Persons whose Fingerprints Are Printed", and GA 777.4-Compared with:2010, the main technical changes are as follows:

---Modified from a mandatory standard to a recommended standard;

---Delete the category of "Persons who have been detained and educated according to law" (see Table 1 in Chapter 4 of the:2010 edition);

---Change the category of "persons who have been reeducated through labor or custody and education according to law" to "persons who have been specially corrected and educated according to law" (see the table in Chapter 5 1, Table 1 in Chapter 4 of the:2010 edition):

4 Encoding method

The category code of the person whose fingerprints and palmprints are collected is represented by 2 digits of Arabic numerals:

5 Code table

The category code of the collected finger and palm prints shall comply with the provisions in Table 1:

01 Criminals tried and convicted by the people's court

02 Persons who have been specially corrected and educated in accordance with the law Administratively detained in accordance with the law or punished according to law for violations of public security management or entry-exit management Persons subject to other administrative punishments, except those who are punished by public security management on the spot

04 People subject to compulsory drug rehabilitation according to law

06 Criminal suspects who have been detained, released on bail, placed under residential surveillance, detained or arrested in accordance with the law

07 Persons who have been continuously interrogated according to law

Due to the needs of handling cases (events), the public security organs collect fingerprints and palm prints with the approval of the person in charge of the public security organs at or above the county level staff in line with the "Fingerprint Letter of Public Security Organs" Information Work Regulations
