Foreword

This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GA 649-2006 "Technical Specification of Two-dimensional Bar Code for Motor Vehicle Registration Technical Parameters", and is consistent with GA 649-2006 Compared with the editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.

---Modified the scope (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2006 edition);

---Modified the normative reference documents, added references to GB/T 21085, GM/T 0003, GA/T 543, and deleted the reference to GB/T 21085, GM/T 0003, and GA/T 543.

Reference to GA/T 24 (see Chapter 2, Chapter 2 of the 2006 edition);

---Modified the spacer (see 4.2.2, 4.2 in the 2006 edition);

---Modified the encrypted information of technical parameters (see 4.2.3, 4.3 of the 2006 edition);

---Modified the symbol specification and error correction level of the barcode (see 5.2, the 2006 edition of 5.2);

---Added the transition period requirements for standard implementation (see Chapter 8);

---Modified the project content and format specifications of the two-dimensional bar code (see Appendix A, Appendix A of the 2006 edition).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the structure, content, and bar code of the two-dimensional barcode used in the technical parameter information of the motor vehicle registration on the motor vehicle factory certificate.
