1 Scope

This standard specifies the definition, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transportation of aerosol fire extinguishing agents.

This standard applies to hot aerosol fire extinguishing agents.

3 Terms and definitions

The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.

A stable or quasi-stable system in which liquid or solid particles are suspended in a gaseous medium.

An extinguishing agent having an extinguishing agent aerosol is produced by combustion or other means.

An extinguishing agent having an aerosol for extinguishing the fire is produced by combustion.
