This standard was drafted in accordance with the rules given in GB/T 1.1-2009.

This standard replaces GA 451-2003 "Technical Specifications for Resident ID Card Body". Compared with GA 451-2003, the main changes are as follows.

---Revised as a recommended standard;

---Modified the version numbers of the normative reference documents GA/T 448, GA/T 449, GA/T 455 (see Chapter 2, 2003 edition chapter 2);

---Added the description of the test method judgment result (see Chapter 5, Chapter 5 of the 2003 edition).

1 Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, transportation and storage of the resident ID card body.

This standard applies to the body of a resident ID card.

The following terms and definitions defined in GA/T 449-2013 apply to this document.

Thepiecewitheightcardbodies A sheet containing eight ID card bodies.

Thepiecewithonecardbody A sheet containing an ID card body.

4 Technical requirements

4.1 Composition

The resident ID card body is formed by hot pressing of the element layer, public information layer, physical anti-counterfeiting layer and protective layer with PETG material as the carrier.

The card body and the surface printing film are hot-pressed and punched into a resident ID card.

4.2 Dimensions

4.2.1 The dimensions of the eight card body are. width 197.0 5.0-2.0mm, height 254.0 3.0-2.0mm, thickness 0.81 0.05-0.06mm.

The card body of the 8-link card is divided into four numbers. No. I, No. II, No. III, No. IV, as shown in Figure 1.The position of the certificate in the card body and the position of the punching cursor See Figure 2.
